ANML-RESQ was asked by a shelter to help this sweetheart of a girl. Sadly, she was found in this horrendous condition, tied to a post. A kind
Samaritan found her and immediately brought her to the shelter.
This sweet girl has a lot of fight in her ...
among other things, she was extremely underweight, had numerous litters and worst of all she had an extremely uncomfortable medical condition called prolapsed uterus. Poor girl could not even sit comfortably.

We had to wait until she gained some weight before we could spay her and at the same time we would also have surgery to correct her prolapsed uterus done. The hardest part was waiting for her to gain even the smallest amount of weight, but she did!! She was 39 lbs. when she arrived at the shelter and since in foster care she has gained a whole 10 lbs. We are so proud of our Princess Kate – she has come a long way but still has a ways to go before she is completely healthy.
In honour of our Princess Kate we have been given the most beautiful quilt to raffle so we can recoup some of Kate’s medical bills.
If you are interested in purchasing tickets you can send an email transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please also include your name and address as well as a notation that you are purchasing Quilt Tickets for Princess Kate.
Payment can also be made through Paypal which can be found on the homepage of our website
Draw date closes August 31, 2017 and monies for tickets must be received 5 days prior to the draw date.
DRUMROLL PLEASE! The moment we have all been waiting for is here!!!
Our end of the year video is ready and it was well worth the wait!!!
We couldn’t have made so many doggies happy without the help of our volunteers, foster homes and rescue friends.
This is our reward for all the hard work throughout the year. Thank you everyone for all you do!

Heather Hunter has
created this poster showing the true cost of what rescues do vs. free
puppies. This poster is a shining example of how much work, time
and money goes into each and every animal rescued.
The cost of
helping an animal is part of what rescue stands for. Rescues
fundraise and ask for donations to help with the animals in
their care. So, while adoption fees for animals rescued may seem
high - the life of each animal rescued is priceless. Animals cannot
talk, but rescues can. Please remember
that rescues do just that - rescue! Saving each life is so very
important to us.
We are ANML-RESQ
Network of Ontario - a not-for-profit group who rescues animals
throughout Ontario and where there is a need. We are all
fosters and receive no money or aid from our government. We
fundraise and hold events throughout the year to accomplish our
goals. With your help we can continue helping the animals
who need us most.
